OPTI - FAT MY 28P / S is a specially manufactured vegetable fat, formed either into a fine granular powder or fine flakes. The raw material is a vegetable oil derivative of the finest quality.

OPTI - FAT MY 28P / S comes either in a lecithin -activated condition or non - lecithin - activated. The choice really depends on the customers' preference; there are those who prefer to add the lecithin themselves during the feed blending process for flexibility and economics, and there are others who prefer lecithin - activated product for ease and convenience.

ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT

OPTI - FAT MY 28P / S contains high portion of Saturated Fatty Acid content thus enhancing the firmness of body fat and shelf life of the meat. The finished feed shall also enjoy a longer shelf life without the worry of rancidity and no preservatives are necessary.

A specially manufactured fat, OPTI - FAT MY 28P / S will allow higher incorporation of oils / fats thus making it a more efficient ration and allowing a higher nutrient intake and therefore higher energy ingestion.

The traditional incorporation of oils / fats for energy ingestion was done through the addition of liquid oils / fats. Using this traditional method the feed could not be homogeneously mixed because the liquid oils / fats invariably cause lumps with the feed materials thereby causing the oils / fats not to be homogeneously distributed. With the non - homogeneous mix of the finished feed, the energy intake , will almost certainly be uneven / unbalanced. OPTI - FAT MY 28P / S, being a fine granular powdered fat which is free flowing makes blending operations very much easier. The free flowing nature of the product allows homogeneous mixing. This allows a more even / balanced intake of energy due to the homogeneity of the finished feed. The product can thus totally replace the traditional liquid oils / fats used.

IMPROVING FEED CONVERSION

To improve feed conversion lecithin shall be added to the product. With the inclusion, improvements in the fats and nutrients transported through the intestinal walls shall be enhanced. Membrane integrity shall also be enhanced with better intake of nutrients. In addition, circulation of blood, liver protection and enzymatic activities is also enhanced.
